Start with an 8×10 picture frame. Be sure before you do anything to clean the glass to remove any dust or dirt that might be visible. Then you can use Scotch Expression tape to give it some flare. Next, line up the tape and press it against the glass. You should leave ¼ edge on the glass. Follow the geometric design to the end and pop the glass back in. Close up the frame and start writing on your new border. It can be used as a tray, too!

Do-It-Yourself: Instagram Wall

Do you love your instagram photos and wish you could have them as decorative pieces on your wall? Look no further, your solution is found. Buy 9 frames, and luckily WalMart sells these beautiful frames for 2 for $12! And print your pictures at WalMart, 8x10s are about 5.49 each.

The first step is to print your photos. The second step is to spray paint your frames. Spray paint them once (gold or silver) front and back. Let them dry for 20 minutes. Repeat and let dry until the entire frame is covered.

The third step is to map out your grid. And depending on your frame size you may adjust this however centre your frame and then place each of them 1.5 inches apart. Also, use a level mark the level point for each frame, and then hang. We don’t recommend using nails and suggest something similar like command hooks for easy removal or swapping.

Do-It-Yourself: Custom Desk Pad

It’s always nice to customize your space. How about a custom desk pad? You won’t need too much. You should buy a clear/transparent desk pad. Afterwards, buy some wrapping paper you like the pattern of, and some strong hold glue (doesn’t have to be a hot glue gun).

Take your glue and cover one side one the transparent pad and place it on the wrapping paper. Make sure the edges line up with the paper before you place it. Next, flip it over and cut off the excess paper that you don’t need and then once the glue dries you can use your new custom mat.
